What is considered an Emergency Repair?

An emergency repair is anything that is unsafe and dangerous such as:

  • A dangerous electrical fault
  • Gas leak
  • Major structural damage
  • Flooding
  • Security issue – front door that cannot be locked for example
  • Loss of essential services – water or electricity for example

We will help you through an emergency by ensuring your home is safe and you can return to it as quickly as possible.

A LEGAL REQUIREMENT

It is a condition of your Tenancy Agreement that you report all maintenance problems as soon as possible. If you fail to do so and as a result the problem gets worst or causes damage to the property you could be liable for any cost to rectify the repair problem.

As a tenant, you are obliged to carry out small household maintenance tasks:
Changing & Replacing Light Bulbs, Fuses, Cooker Hood & Washing Machine Filters, Tightening Loose, Screws, Oiling Hinges & Locks, Dealing with Ants & Wasps Nest and Vermin.

Please ensure you provide full details of the repair issue\problem with photographs to enable us to deal with your request efficiently. The following information is required to enable us to refer your repair request to the correct Department & Contractor.

Any missed appointments or false reports will be liable for additional charges.
